Official Submissions Guidelines

At Evening Post Books, we are constantly seeking local writers to share their unique stories about the South Carolina Lowcountry. To help us determine whether Evening Post Books will be the best fit for your proposed work, please fill out and submit the proposal form below along with the required materials listed below. Before submitting your work to Evening Post Books, we recommend that you browse our catalogue to get a feel for the types of books we publish. We accept works of fiction as well as non-fiction.

Submission Requirements

Please fill out and submit the proposal form below.  Your submission must include the following attachments to be considered for publication:

• A proposed table of contents and chapter synopsis
• A Curriculum Vitae (CV), Resume, or a brief written work history
• A copy of the completed manuscript; if the manuscript is not complete, please enclose a brief writing sample
• Up to five (5) sample images or illustrations, if applicable

  You will be notified via email within twelve weeks of submission date if your work has been accepted for publication.
